- C/TPA stands for Consortium/Third Party Administrator. We manage your drug & alcohol testing program, maintain records, ensure compliance, and support you in case of an audit.
- A consortium is a group of companies or individuals that come together to meet DOT regulations for random drug and alcohol testing.
- Yes! Our services are nationwide, and you can access testing sites across the U.S.
Yes. If you’re a solo CDL driver operating under your own DOT number, you must join a random testing consortium to stay compliant with FMCSA regulations.
Technically yes, but it’s not recommended unless you have trained compliance staff. Most companies use a TPA like CollectGuard to avoid mistakes and stay audit-ready.
Employers must register in the Clearinghouse, run pre-employment and annual queries on drivers, and report violations. We offer this as an add-on service if you need help.
We’ll notify you by email or phone and provide instructions for completing the test at a nearby collection site. You’ll typically have 24 hours to comply.
Failure to comply with DOT drug & alcohol testing rules can result in fines, disqualification from driving, or loss of operating authority. We’re here to help you stay compliant and avoid those risks.
